Martin Suda started his academic career at the Technical University of Vienna (Diploma thesis 1972, PhD 1974, Habilitation 1996). Since 1975 he is scientific employee in ARCS and holds lectures at the TU Vienna. During his career he has worked on the following subject of basic research: Condensed matter physics (1971-1974), Liquid physics (1974-1983), Reactor physics (1976-1978), Construction physics (1982-1987), Hydraulics (1985-1992), Computerized simulation (1985-2000), Radioecology (1989-1998), Medical physics (1991-2000), Quantum optics (neutrons) (since 1993), Quantum cryptography (since 2001). Together with Momtchil Peev he is responsible for computerised simulation of the experimental arrangement, error correction of the bit strings, privacy amplification, and information theory within the project.
